El aceite para armas no se seca y proporciona un deslizamiento duradero. El aceite para armas está hecho de dimeticona, que es la forma de silicona de mayor calidad. Es hipoalergénico y no mancha las telas. El aceite para armas en realidad no contiene aceite, por lo que es perfectamente seguro para usar con condones y está altamente concentrado, por lo que una pequeña cantidad es suficiente.
